Flushing builder celebrates 400 radio shows on local air waves
    BURTON — A Flushing builder's home improvement show marked a milestone Saturday on the air waves on radio station WFNT 1470 AM at Burton's Town Square Media Studios. Jonathan Smith's "I Can Build That" show aired its 400th episode.

​​Detroit Pistons eyeing 60,000 square foot practice facility near new arena for Detroit Red Wings​        DETROIT (9-30-2016)  — Detroit radio station 97.1 The Ticket reported in a 5 pm breaking news story that sources have confirmed that the Detroit Pistons are prepared to build a 60,000 square foot practice facility complex near Little Caesars Arena. Detroit breweries grab top honors at annual prestigious event in Denver
   DENVER, COLORADO  — Two Detroit breweries won Gold Medals here at the prestigious 
30th annual Great American Beer Festival which drew a record 7,227 entries across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The event is considered the top festival for judging U.S.-made beers, and Detroit's big winners were among 10 Michigan breweries to get honors. Click Here to Read More

Berkley club bans Detroit Lions from TV over national anthem
   BERKLEY  — A Berkley social club for veterans of the United States military is taking a strong stand over players in the National Football League taking a knee to protest our nation's national anthem. Any NFL team with players protesting won't be allowed on TV at the club, including the Detroit Lions.
