Drunken driving charge filed against Flint City Councilman Wantwaz Davis
FLINT — A blood test confirmed that Flint City Councilman Wantwaz Davis was drunk when arrested after a late night Sept. 3 crash. The councilman refused a breathalyzer at the scene and spent the night at the Flint City Jail. He was released pending blood test results and told The Morning Gazette Radio Show that he wouldn't fight the charges if he was over the legal limit of .08. His blood alcohol was .10, according to a statement released by the office of Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.
