Daily Gazette Sports Weekend Show to air live from Keeneland this week in horse country

ADvantage Media Group LLC has announced that its Saturday sports show will be broadcasting live this week from Kentucky's historic Keeneland Race Course. "The Daily Gazette Sports Weekend Show" is hosted by award-winning columnist Mike Killbreath, who is also Executive Editor at The Daily Gazette.

Keeneland celebrates its 80th anniversary of racing in Lexington, Kentucky, when the "2016 Fall Meet" gets underway on Friday. The 17-day meet opens with Keeneland's prestigious "Fall Stars Weekend" event when many of racing's most celebrated horses will make their final starts before next month's Breeders' Cup World Championships at Santa Anita, California. The "2016 Fall Meet" concludes on Oct. 29.

Killbreath started his sports show in 2012 on Flint's News Talk WFNT AM, but now airs the program on CCN Radio. The digital feed makes the two-hour program available live at 10 am every Saturday, or available anytime "on demand" to listeners on home computers, office PC's, smart phones, tablets and  mobile devices. A link to the show can be found at CCN Radio.

"It will be fun broadcasting from the heart of horse country in one of the most beautiful places on earth," Killbreath said. His wife, Regan, is an expert on horse racing and has been providing articles for FAME Newspapers and The Daily Gazette since 2009.

Killbreath will also be broadcasting his weekday news/talk show live from Keeneland on Friday morning. The Morning Gazette Radio Show airs every weekday from 8 am until 9 am.  He will air the program on Monday from a bed and breakfast horse farm in Georgetown, Kentucky.
